LOUIS DESIGN STUDIO INC. is a full service design firm. We offer a design-build service working with RAVEN GC INC, our in-house construction company.

Whether it be designing a new home, investment property, retail space, or an accessory dwelling unit, we can design and create a building set to be permitted for your new project.

Do you need general contracting to be done? We are a construction firm capable of building your new project.

We are a full service design team and full service construction team, offering the integration of services for a seamless project experience .

Our studio is committed to creating original designs being thoughtful of our clients imaginations, along with the knowledge and experience of construction. With over 30 years of design and building experience, we have a strong track record, and diverse body of work that has included new commercial, mixed-use, and residential.

Services

RESEARCH

We gather all information we believe necessary from you, the city and the project site, helping prepare us for the start of the project. If you are uncertain about your project ideas or property capability, we can help with finding the right answers for you.

conceptual / preliminary design

A jumping off point, creating floor plans and exterior elevations based off our research and your feedback. This phase helps us and you to understand the “concept” in your design and project direction. With this information it allows a price point to be created for the project.

Design development

Now we begin with drawings helping us coordinate with engineers. During this process some design ideas could be adjusted to adhere to code and / or other needs. If any major items seem to effect our original concept or budget we would review for approval before the next step.

Construction documents

Once the design is finalized, we begin develop the construction set, the most important to building your project. The construction drawings are fully engineering and detailed.

Permitting + approvals

We have plenty of experience with the city where we have found it best for us to take on this duty. We will communicate and work with the different city agencies in order to get your plans finalized with approvals.
